23 May Juana Acosta has begun filming “Las Consecuencias”(Claudia Pinto)
Juana is presently filming “Las Consecuencias” between Valencia and the islands of La Palma and La Gomera. This is Claudia Pinto’s second full-length feature film after “La Distancia más Larga”.
The director tells us that the film, “…is a very special kind of thriller in that the mystery to be resolved is not about a crime or court case, but about an emotional and very intimate family enigma”.
The complete casts includes: Alfredo Castro, Carme Elías, Sonia Almarcha, Héctor Alterio and Maria Romanillos. The film tells the story of Fabiola (Juana Acosta), a woman tormented by an accident that changed her life. During a trip to the island where her mother lives, she becomes a spy in her own home confronted by problems such as when it is appropriate to rummage through people’s private affairs and whether or not it is lawful to lie in order to protect the people we love.
