Juana Acosta will present the Platino Awards

Juana Acosta has been honored with the Special Award for International Career in the Audiovisual Industry at the Cartagena International Film Festival (Ficci 62).

For the first time since its creation in 1984, the India Catalina Awards for the Audiovisual Industry presented a distinction given by the FICCI.

“For me it is an immense honor to receive this recognition from one of the most important film festivals in Latin America, being honored in my land is an encouragement to continue working, an impulse to continue believing that we can fulfill our dreams if we move forward with love and respect “, Juana Acosta, who receives this award for her more than 25 years of career.

Juana began working in television and film in Mascarada (1996) and Kalibre 35 (2000), projects that propelled her towards a path in art that has allowed her to develop on many levels artistically and humanly. Her versatility and hard work have led her to create a path of more than 20 years with recognition in Colombia, her homeland, and also in the world.

Each of her experiences at the acting level are closely linked to the instinctive and intuitive. Everything about her began with curiosity and a desire to learn that pushed her towards lucidity to continue delving deeper, always from respect for the work and her approach to it with seriousness and depth.

This commitment and this good work are some of the many reasons why, for the first time in the entire history of the India Catalina Awards for the Audiovisual Industry, version 39 will present recognition by the FICCI this March 26, to The International Trajectory in the Audiovisual Industry.
