El Inconveniente was directed by Bernabé Rico. Bernabé Rico wrote this film along with Juan Carlos Rubio, who he has worked with in the past on Las Heridas del Viento.
The film tells the story of Sara, who is offered to buy the perfect house… spacious, full of natural light and extremely cheap. There is only one small problem… Lola, the 80-year-old owner, who will live with her until she dies. Despite this inconvenience, Sara decides that it is a good deal. She decides to buy the house and wait.
Sara is portrayed by Juana Acosta and Kiti Mánver interprets the role of Lola. They are joined by the veteran actor, José Sacristán.
