Juana Acosta Patroness of Nesspreso Atelier in the San Sebastian Film Festival

As part of the San Sebastían Film Festival, the first Ateltier (workshop) for the coffee machine brand in our country took place where an essential meeting of the love of good coffee, gastronomy and film came together. Rubén Trincado, whose one Michelin star restaurant, Mirador de Ulía, was the first great chef to inaugurate the Atlelier, but it wasn’t an easy task.

Nespresso had proposed a challenge to him where Juana Acosta would choose films where coffee and cuisine had important roles (the history of cinema and coffee have been bound since the birth of cinematography) and he would create dishes based on this idea.   The films chosen were: Breakfast at Tiffany’s, My Blueberry Nights, Amélie, Out of Africa… The menu Rubén Trincado put together was absolutely flawless: glass rice, shrimp in brine, snow coffee, Duck Volluto, Milk skin…
