12 Jun Juana begins filming Vientos de la Habana in Cuba
Juana finds herself at this moment filming her new film Vientos de La Habana, directed by Felix Viscarret, based on the novel by Leonard Padura and also starring Jorge Perugorría in Habana.
In addition to a film, this shooting will also serve as the first episode in a three part miniseries for television.
The film brings together a crime genre with the unique atmosphere of Habana, with its rich architecture, dimly lit alleyways and all of its mysteries and secrets creating a new genre in cinema, Caribbean Noir or Habana-noir.
